Our military members give these people hope that good news is coming their way. The military service sends U.S soldiers to get people on the far side of the sea for war and release those from captivity. What is the message of Isaiah 61:1? The Messiah comes down to reach His people and gather hope for the hopeless, and release these people from any fear blocking them. The enemy will attempt to attack you in any way deemed your weakness-armor up with the Word of God to ease your mind from what is to come from war. How does God want you to view deployment? God tells good soldiers to prepare mentally, physically, and spiritually for war. Even the best soldiers hold onto God’s promises to seek light in a dark place. Knowing that it truly is all in God’s hands keeps them sane. It is tough to encounter, and only God’s Word can carry them through this time.
